The Handy Rents Contract Agreement provides more specific terms and conditions than those stated below.

CARE OF EQUIPMENT: All rentals are made with the understanding that normal wear and tear is included in the rent. Any damage from misuse or improper care will be charged.

CHECKS will be accepted for rental. Checks used for deposit will be left open (no dollar amount filled in), and the amount of the rental will be filled in on return of the equipment. A receipt will be given to the customer in all cases. There will be a $30 minimum charge on all returned checks.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT: The rental rate structure anticipates all equipment being returned clean or charges will be assessed. There will be a minimum charge of $50 (or more depending on the extent) for equipment returned uncleaned.

CONTRACTS: All rental contracts must be signed.

CREDIT: We will be glad to open an account for you. Please ask for a credit application at the counter.

DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT / DAMAGE WAIVER: A Damage Waiver of 10% of the gross Rental Rate will be charged unless the Lessee furnishes a certificate of insurance naming rental equipment coverage. This covers the rental equipment against accidental damage. This does not cover misuse, loss, or neglect.

DELIVERY CHARGE: Minimum delivery charge is $15. Actual one-way and round trip delivery charges vary by type of equipment and distance. Also, there is an $8.00 fuel surcharge.

DEPOSITS are required for any item rented unless credit has been applied for and an approved in advance. Minimum deposit is $10.00. The deposit required varies by equipment type.

IDENTIFICATION by two (2) forms is required on all rentals as follows:

 1. Valid driver’s license

 2. Vehicle registration (Year, make, and license of renter's vehicle)

3. Military ID

4. Major credit card

5. Bank credit card

6. Current utility bill

RENTAL DAY: A rental day is 24 hours. Equipment is charged for time out, not time used. Overtime will be charged at 1/6th of the daily rate per each hour past the agreed return time. On metered and/or heavy equipment, a day is 24 hours, 8 hours maximum running time per day, or 40 hours per week maximum running time. Overtime will be charged.

RENTAL RATES: 4-Hour, Daily, Weekly and Monthly rates are available on most equipment. Rates are subject to change without notice.

RESERVATIONS are accepted. Consider making advance reservations for certain equipment types.
